Jericho’s newest fan arrives – Baby Poultry is born!
There are some moments in life that are indescribable. Tonight, I experienced one of those when I saw my baby girl for the first time. That moment, and the moment when her mommy first held her, will forever be etched in my mind as something so special, words haven’t been created yet to describe them.
The best thing about being a Jericho fan is being part of such an incredible community. So many of you have shared well wishes and happy thoughts to my wife and I over the last few days via e-mail, Facebook, and over the phone. Many of you knew that we were going in for an induction Thursday, July 24. Well, turns out we didn’t exactly need the induction. Michele gave birth totally on her own with no drugs or anything to get it going. No epidural either! OUCH!
Anyway, it is with much excitement and enthusiasm (even at 3:25AM) that I share with you our newest arrival:
This morning (July 25th), we welcomed Madeline Darby Moore into the world at 1:12AM. She weighed 6lbs, 10oz.

Wow, Jason! What great news to wake up to! That little girl was ready to make her entrance, wasn’t she? And despite being 10 days ‘early,’ she arrived in her own time and in her own style…..showing us who’s REALLY in charge.
Madeline Darby Moore is a beautiful name. This little princess is already very loved by a bunch of crazy ‘Jericho’ people from all over the world who also love her daddy.
Congratulations to you and Michele on the birth of your daughter and to Ethan on becoming a big brother! I know that Madeline has already wrapped those tiny little hands around your heart — and ours!

RP and Michelle, congratulations on the birth of your beautiful daughter. I love the name. It isn’t fair that Michelle looks so good having just given birth. Congrats on no epidural. Congratulations! What a beautiful family. I must say I didn’t look so good after my 29 hours of active labor with no epidural as your wife does; in fact, I made my husband turn off the video camera during my labor. And, RP, you are beaming with joy and pride. Will you call her Madeline or wind up with Maddie? I hope she comes home and starts sleeping through the night very, very soon!
